John 6:41-51

 

  1. How has God provided for you? How has he given you good gifts?

 

  1. What does the word sacrament mean to you? What do you wish a sacrament did in your life?

 

  1. In this passage, some of the disciples leave Jesus. Do you see what was offensive in this story, in his words and actions? How does it make you feel towards Jesus?

 

  1. Jesus says that those who eat of the bread of life, will not die. What does that mean? How is he inviting us into eternal life, now, even though we are still mortal in this world? Do you live as someone who has eaten of the bread of life? Why or why not?

 

  1. Off the Wall: what is your favourite type of bread? What are the best things to eat with or on it? Have you ever tried to make bread?
