Krista Barlow

My husband, Dave, and I moved to the Comox Valley with our two small children in 1994. I have a rich and varied denominational background, but have logged more time at Living Hope than any other church.

When I retired from teaching a few years ago, I decided to focus my energies on activities I could do with purpose and passion. It has been a joy to become more involved at Living Hope, especially in areas of teaching and leading. There’s nothing better than finding a place to serve God with people you love and who love God. I have a heart for sharing the transformative love of Jesus with those outside the church and to welcome others into the warmth of community.

Fun fact: Competitive swimming and downhill skiing in my youth have given way to aquafit and cross-country skiing in my latter years.
